We always hear about the liberal press and liberal media not giving conservatives their due time and opinion. Interestingly, the 2 leading appearers on Meet the Press are John McCain (64 appearances) and Bob Dole (63). Both men are clearly well known for their liberal views. |

When it comes to McCain he is more liberal than conservative. His fiscal policy as stated during the campaign differed little from Obama. He is also on the "global warming myth" bandwagon. He may wear and (R) next to his name but he is no more a coservative than the governator out in Cali. When they start giving equal time to Jindal, Gingrich and other conservates I will buy into your premise.
Thank you for your response. There was not a position on the Republican platform that the 2008 version of John McCain didnt agree to or morph to. Now that he seems focused more on being a good American Senator than a dutiful Republican candidate he has come to differ from Jindal and Gingrich and so many others who suported him.
When the Republicans gave Jindal the position of responding to Obama no one knows for sure if they were more embarrassed or liberals were more embarrassed for them, thats what FERA's will do.
I read many many critiques of Jindal's address on left-wing blogs. He was bashed for his speaking style and for his skin color (race), but not for his ideas. I guess his teleprompter is not good enough.
