This week in political dumb dumb da dumb dumb

At a political speech this weekend in Wyoming, Dick Cheney eviscerated President Obama's choices for Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense. What's fascinating to us is that Mr. Cheney has as many draft deferments avoiding service in Vietnam, five (5) as nominees John Kerry and Chuck Hagel have purple hearts. Does this  make them automatically qualified? No, but it certainly brings to mind one of the most truly trusted homilies: consider the source. And based on Mr. Cheney's record for policy and non service to this country there's really none there.
